If you're doing work experience in a hairdressers your hair has to look good, so make a little extra effort. You could scrape it back in a neat but, curl it or straighten it... Or maybe you have some different ideas, it's up to you! As for makeup I don't think it matters - just wear it as you usually do.

When I did my work experience at a hairdressers all I really did was sweep the floor, make tea, wash hair %26amp; help the hairdressers with foil strips and perm rods. You're not allowed to do anything to the hair. It's really interesting though as they let me watch and talked me through what they were doing, and how they were doing it. It's a very social job, so it's lots of fun and involves lots of interesting conversation.

Hope you have fun! 鈾?xHas any one done work experence in a hairdressers ?
i have worked in a salon as a work placement it was fun

but you have to go to the salon presentable so that means hair tidy as that is what is going to be your proffesion ans its no good you having untidy unkept hair its up to you if you wear make up if you were gonna be a beauty therapist it would be a must ,some days i was treated like a general dogs body making clients tea and other days it would be tea making but also you would shampoo the client for the stylist i was allowed to take perming rods out after i had neutralised the perm it is fun but its like any thing their are good and bad things that we always like and dislike about our jobs etc but im sure you will have a great time learning the proffesion of hairdressing and you just wait till you learn color enjoy your self if you get the chance learn nvq 2+3 and barbering its more qualifications for you
i worked in a hairdresses for my palcement 2 months ago, although it was a private placement i dont think it makes any difference. i think as long as you look presentable then its fine, dont wear loads of make up it will scare people just make sure its nice and natural i suppose. as with hair i either for my down and straight or up in a ponytail, just dont look a mess and youll be fine :) hope this helps x
your hair obviously has to be styled. curled, straightened, updo %26amp; so on. you have to have make up on,but not alot.i like mine to look natural i try %26amp; stay free of he cake face it looks gross.i'm a stylist.%26amp; there is one girl tht works there %26amp; she nvr does her make up or hair %26amp; when ppl look @ her they are like..nvm i will go somewhere else.bc she doesnt look presentable.%26amp; if a stylist doesnt attempt to do their own hair..what does that say bout their skills ya know.
well if it's looks good then its yes but if not it's a no so there's the answer
