my hair is afro and very coarse. got it relaxed a couple of weeks back but only after a week it went back to its usual state.Friends told me to go back and get a refund,others say to go back and ave it redone,others say i shld not trust them but instead ask for them to fix me a weave and then add the difference of cost to their fee....i am fixed to go back there later today but still confused as to wat to do,wat do u say?Should i go back to the hairdressers then?
I am a cosmetologist. You should go in there and ask for the Manager, Tell them the situation that you are in. A mojority of the time, no matter what you want them to do it shouldnt cost you anymore money. If it does, you better hope you didnt sign any speacial agreement that they arent responisble for how your hair turns out c/s u can get a lawyer and fix it in a hurry! Girlfirend, there are many ways to scare a stylist and that is it! just tell her that if she cant fix it, your lawyer will! (as long as u didnt ';sign ur life away!)Should i go back to the hairdressers then?
talk to the people at the salon. you should trust them, its not like the fried your hair or anything. they are the professionals. they know if its safe to reapply or wait. they also know what exactly they used. if u go somewhere else they will have no idea and there will be more room for problems. the salon i work in has a time limit for when things can be redone but i think in this case if it didnt take you should have it fixed.

if ur hair is due for relaxation u should as dem. it also depends on d type of product u use and hw ur hair texture is. lyk me now. i have 2 go relax it in lyk 3months cos my hair will be due. i'm sure that that might be ur own specific tym 2 relax ur hair again. But if u don't want 2 relax it u can get ur hair braided with weavon or attachments 2 last 4 sometime. if u have a specific hairstylist that knows much bout ur hair u can ask him/her questions bout it. or maybe u could braid then later relax ur hair.
They have messed up and are obliged to fix this for you, whatever you decide they should swallow the cost of it, just be firm and pleasant about it,but make sure you get a satisfactory response, you are entitled to their assistance if this is their fault.
Well, that depends on their policy.. did they tell u that the relaxed hair do they gave u, wud last more than a week?? if they did, then yeah, go ask them for a refund.. if not, then go and tell them, that u werent completely satisfied, since the final product ie.. ure hair went back to normal after a week. if they offer to take care of you and work a deal with you.. go ahead and do that. if they say they cant do anything, well, u decide, if its worth getting ure hair done there or somewhere else...
