For hairdressers, or those knowledgeable of hair care?

I just got an inch off of my hair, so all the split ends and broken ends are gone. How do I prevent split ends and broken ends from happening? I have wavy blond hair, and I usually comb it when I put conditioner in my hair in the shower, then I rinse, then I comb it once I get out. However, this makes my hair more straight and I like it curly. How should I comb my hair? I'm trying to keep my hair curly and strong. For hairdressers, or those knowledgeable of hair care?
Well E.E. you should never comb your hair with conditioner in it if you want to maintain your natural curls. Then, instead of combing you hair, you should get a pick or large tooth comb to take care of the tangles, then scrunch your hair to preserve your natural curls. In order to prevent split ends, you can use olive oil as a hot oil treatment.

After washing your hair put the olive oil in it and place a plastic cap on your hair under the hair dryer. Once you treat you hair for 7 minutes, rinse your hair then dry and style as usual.

It is also advised that you wash your hair only 3 times per week instead of daily. See how that works for you. Good luck! For hairdressers, or those knowledgeable of hair care?
Conditioners weigh down the hair. You only need about less than a palm size amount. Use the conditioner diluted in water. Rinse it out and comb it through with a wide tooth comb. It you finger comb %26amp; scrunch it as it dries it should stay curly.

It's good to get that trim every few months to get rid of the ends.

Also don't fidget with your hair, pulling the ends and stuff, causing it to frizz.
use a shampoo and conditioner made for curly hair and dont brush the conditioner through

if you still need more bounce, try sunsilk curl boost and no frizz balm and scrunch into hair

it works really good

Anyone going to the barbers or hairdressers today?

Anyone going to the barbers or salon today? If so what did you get done? Did you get a sleeve gown on too or a cape no sleeves?Anyone going to the barbers or hairdressers today?

what a bizarre question. How interesting!
Nope
yes, well maybe might get it layered again
Just to be silly--you don't need a barber do you? That is if your avatar matches

you somewhat. : } My husband hasn't been to a barber in years as I am his

barber. Since he had lymphoma and lost all his hair, we both like the look of

none or little hair. He looks so good bald. I use a towel around him so that I can take it to the balcony and shake out whatever hair there is. As for me, I am letting my hair grow down to my waist again so that they can get 2 more lots of hair for wigs. I became more aware when my husband lost his hair to chemo.

When my hairdresser cuts it in 2 lots, I will have her only go to my shoulders

so that I have a head : } start on the next batch of hair.
nope i am soon though =)
Nopeeee

Hairdressers: what tips/products would you recommend for my hair type?

I have curly hair that gets oily throughout the day at the scalp and the rest is really dry and frizzy. i blow dry and straighten it everyday, and it usually looks dry and dull. I want shiny, unfrizzy hair both when i let my hair dry curly and when i blow dry and straighten it. what would you reccomend for both?Hairdressers: what tips/products would you recommend for my hair type?
i recommend the ';smoothing'; line from paul mitchell. also, i suggest you avoid applying moisturizing products [IE serum, condtioner, balms, treatments] at the scalp of your hair to avoid oily buildup.Hairdressers: what tips/products would you recommend for my hair type?
First use a quality shampoo and conditioner. I use Kenneth's from http//:www.kenneths.com/ - when still wet, use a leave in conditioner. Remember, the scalp produces oil, so don't use much at all in the middle.

  • Why are straight male hairdressers so sexy?

My husband used to be a hairdresser when we met, now he's in the construction field, I know it's a strange transition. When he was doing hair though, he would wearnice clothes and looked so good. He told me he had women hitting on him constantly. But there really is an attraction to straight men who do your hair, they are kind of rare, but the ones who are, are hot. Right? Why are straight male hairdressers so sexy?
Not only are they hot, but man, can you ask for anyone better. Someone who's goodlooking and can fix your hair for you????What a catch. Why are straight male hairdressers so sexy?
i want to know the same thing. b/c there is this one guy that i know who is a hair dresser and he absolutly gourgose as ever too, but he's in his mid to late 20's and i'm 16 going on 17 and i kind of feel bad for saying that.

also gay male hair dressers are good looking as well. why did they have to be good looking why?
I've been doing women's hair for for free for years. Women like a man who can do their hair, it shows sensitivity to their needs. Also the fact that he is straight really appeals to the ladies.
Honestly i have never been attracted to a male hairdresser i always thought that they weren't straight..i know that is sterotypical but that was my impression besides for myself i have always had a women do my hair. :)
    OOOO YA!!! :)
In the salon they are the only ( lucky) guys who get attention of all the pretty girls. And vice versa!

Yeah some are hot and the one who gives me a manicure has such baby soft hands!
They are not rare at all. Most of the men that I have worked with over 14 years are straight. (Really.) They know how to take care of themselves and what is really sexy is that they can make you feel sexy.
yess mam. something about a straight man (very metro oh well) who knows fashion and hair is totally hott. but at the same time you know they are NOT gay.
